I originally saw Craig being interviewed on a local television show. This was in response to the number of Franklin County residents whose properties had recently been reappraised and were facing hefty increases in property taxes. This segment focused on the process of appealing that property value increase to the Board of Revision. I reached out and he responded quickly and professionally. He came out and did a thorough appraisal and inspection of my home. Because of the death of my husband, I had deferred some maintenance and felt that the actual value of my house was much less (and would require significant improvements) than the > $300,000 value assessed by the county. The Board of Revision came back with a decision that favored Craig's assessment - a $74,000 difference (less!) than the original evaluation. I truly believe this is because of the thorough and professional report Craig provided, detailing each and every room of my home. I am very grateful and would highly recommend Craig for your appraisal needs. When you try to sell your house, you would like to hire an appraiser who can give you a favorable market value. When you try to fight with county auditor's office, you would like the appraiser taking on your side. When an appraiser walks on the fine line between these two opposite valuations, a qualified appraiser will use his training, experience and knowledge to bridge the gap of these two ends.
